I live and work in New York City, where I serve as the art market editor for ARTINFO.com, a Louise Blouin Media publication. I cover all aspects of the art market for the site, keep a blog called "Above The Estimate," and occasionally write for our sister magazine, Art+Auction.
During college I served as a research assistant at the Software Freedom Law Center and worked on issues of free software in government, specifically the utility of adopting free software across government platforms in Iceland. I remain interested in both free software and freedom of expression internationally in the internet age.
I have also worked at other media companies in New York, including the New Yorker, Insitutional Investor News's Real Estate Finance and Investment, Pocket Change NYC, and NYLuxury.com. Interview.com, Real Estate Finance and Investment, and REITcafe.com.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time on my bicycle. I race road, track, and cyclocross for the Gennaro Restaurant / CRCA cycling team based out of NYC. I'm often found in the early morning and the late evening doing repeats of Harlem Hill in Central Park.
I have a degree in political science from Columbia University.
